Chicago Photo Journal

I visited Chicago for only two days and one night in August as an end-of-summer trip. We managed to pack the two days with so much site-seeing, exploring, and eating. Seeing a new place, no matter for how long, is one of my favorite things!

The Cloud Gate – aka the Bean!! I know this is the most basic and touristy spot to visit in Chicago, but I was so excited to see it. It wasn’t as big as I expected it to be and neither was the park area around it, but it’s still a must-see.

We took an river cruise explaining the architecture in the city which was one of the best things we did. Chicago is one of the cities with the most moving bridges.

This is the John Hancock building from above. Taking a nighttime helicopter ride over the city was such a special and once in a lifetime experience!

The Skydeck on the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower was surreal.

The river is set a little below the city streets creating streets of its own with restaurants, lounge areas, and parks. It was the perfect place to take a break during a busy day.

Two days in Chicago was a pretty good amount of time to visit the main attractions of the city while also seeing some unique and less-traveled areas.

By for now, Chicago!
